This moderate to advanced trail is 7 miles long one-way, and offers various terrain and beautiful lakeside views of Kerr Lake. Two trailheads exist, the one on Greenwood Rd offers a short hike to the Robert Munford Grave historic site.

Robert Munford was an influential land-owner in Mecklenburg County in the late 1700’s, and while very politically active, is best known for penning what are accepted to be the first two comedic plays written in the New World.
