Patrick County LOVEwork: 116 W Blue Ridge St, Stuart, VA 24171

This LOVEwork sign overlooks Dehart Park and is a great place to take pictures. It is a short drive away from Stuart’s scenic main street. With just a short drive (or walk if you’re in the mood) you’ll be looking down one of the county’s most scenic streets. Stroll down and check out Mattie B’s, The Hatteras Pearl, or Main Street Gifts.

Uptown Suites of Stuart Barn Quilt LOVEwork: 220 Orchard St, Stuart, VA 24171

This colorful LOVEwork sign is a beautiful collection of hand-painted barn quilts. Each of the barn quilts was painted by someone who owns a business in the Uptown Stuart’s George Building. Susan at Quilted Colors did the L, Leslie of Uptown Suites did the O, Joni at MattieB’s did the V, and Kristen at Circles Around the Sun Yoga did the E. This LOVEwork has been a big hit with visitors and locals alike.

Stanburn Winery LOVEwork: 158 Conner Dr, Stuart, VA 24171

Patrick County is located in a wonderful wine region. This part of Southwest Virginia is perfectly suited for vineyards. The Stanburn Vineyard was formed in the late ’90s and is still family-owned and operated. They began making their own wine in the late 2000s and since then have continued to grow. Their tasting room is open during the warmer months and their vineyard is a great place to have a picnic and relax. Their wine can be ordered here and they are available for curbside pickup.

Nancy’s Candy LOVEwork: 2684 Jeb Stuart Hwy, Meadows of Dan, VA 24120

Meadows of Dan LOVEwork: 2609 JEB Stuart Highway, Meadows of Dan, VA 24120

This LOVEwork sign pays tribute to some of Patrick County’s best features. The L is our ode to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The O is the water wheel at Mabry’s mill and all the other mills in the surrounding area. The V references the two wineries along the parkway. The E is for the county’s deeply rooted musical heritage.

Meadows of Dan is a wonderful area to explore. While you’re there warm up at Primitive Coffee Shop or drop into Poor Farmer’s Market, Poppy’s, and Concord Corner Store and see what makes this little town so special. It’s located right off of the parkway which means that you are only a few minutes away from some of the county’s beautiful overlooks.

Front Porch Fest LOVEwork 677 Spirithaven Lane, Stuart, VA, 24171

While only around during Front Porch Fest, this LOVEWork sign is a great place to take pictures when you attend the festival. This festival has been recognized in many magazines and has won nominated as the best family-friendly festival. Spirit Haven Farms is a beautifully managed farm with a deep connection to nature. Save the date for September 1-4 2022 for Front Porch Fest 13.

Floydfest Site LOVEWork: (open only during events) 894 Rock Castle Gorge Rd, Meadows of Dan

This LOVEWork Sign is only available during the festival, but it is a great place to take pictures while you’re attending Floydfest. This festival has an all-star lineup for 2022 including Melissa Etheridge, Old Crow Medicine Show, Trampled by Turtles, and more. If you’re looking for the ultimate gift for the music lover in your life then Floydfest tickets are the way to go. Save the date for July 27-31 2022 and get ready for Floydfest Heartbeat.

LOVEWork Coming Soon:

I.C. Dehart

I.C. Dehart in Woolwine is well known for its mountain biking trails and has even hosted mountain booking competitions such as the Tour De Dirt. Soon the park will have a LOVEwork sign that reflects its claim to fame. This LOVEwork is going to have moving parts that visitors are encouraged to play with. It is being created by a local metalworker who has a passion for mountain biking.

Fairy Stone Park

Fairy Stone Park is one of Patrick County’s most visited locations. Home of the mythical Fairy Stone, this park draws in visitors from all over. Soon this park will have a LOVEwork sign that reflects the beauty of the park. The sign will have moving/working parts that visitors will be encouraged to interact with.
