Gear up for an exciting weekend of mountain bike racing and community spirit at the Mayhem at Mayodan, taking place on April 20th and 21st, 2024, at Farris Memorial Park. This thrilling event, hosted by the North Carolina Interscholastic Cycling League, will see teams and riders from across North Carolina compete in various categories, showcasing their skills and pushing their limits on challenging and scenic trails.

Giving back to the community!

The event features our Teen Trail Corps program, with several sessions on Saturday, 20 April of coaches and student athletes conducting trail work to help maintain and improve the trail system at the park. With warm up rides, adventure rides, fun and games on Saturday and an action packed race on Sunday, the weekend is full of opportunity to have fun with friends and family. Racing begins at 9am on Sunday and will last until approximately 4pm.

Area teams. 53 teams from across NC are on tap to participate in the event but we have several from surrounding communities who we consider our "home teams" for the event:

Local flavor:

• Trail boss support: A big thanks to Mayodan Parks and Recreation for maintaining the incredible trail system.
• Local business love: Easy Eats and Bearded BBQ Food Trucks will be on site all weekend to feed the hungry riders and racers. Tidy Services is providing sanitation support for the event participants.
• In case we need it: A big thanks to Madison Rockingham Rescue Squad and Mayodan Fire Department for being on site Sunday to support our race.
