Art enthusiasts are in for a treat, as The Dunn Center will host the "Fantastic Little Paintings" exhibition by the renowned artist Bob Ross.
The exhibition will run from November 2, 2023, to January 4, 2024, featuring over 75 unique paintings. This will be the largest collection of Bob Ross’s paintings ever displayed globally, making it an event not to be missed. Tickets for the exhibition will cost $15 per person and free admission for children under five.
This marks the first time a Bob Ross exhibit will be showcased in North Carolina, making it a significant event. Bob Ross, an American painter, art instructor, and television host, became famous for his permed hair and instructional television program, The Joy of Painting. The program aired from 1983 to 1994 on PBS in the United States and other similar channels worldwide.
In addition to the paintings, the event will feature classes taught by Bob Ross Certified Instructors, allowing visitors to learn how to paint like Bob Ross.
Bob Ross, Inc. will contribute all the funds from the exhibition to bring future artists to the Galleries at The Dunn Center. Guests are invited to experience the joy that Ross brought to the art world.
